Coach Ryan Schuler has been a Baseball/Softball instructor since January of 2012. Starting out as a hitting coach for The Ballpark Academy in Evansville Indiana for parts of five seasons while attending the University of Southern Indiana, he eventually relocated to Tampa, Florida, where he worked in Ticket Operations with the Tampa Bay Rays for two seasons. During this time, he also instructed at The Hitting Academy.<br />

Schuler eventually became a professional instructor in Atlanta, Georgia, for a fast growing franchise called D-Bat. After becoming a nationally recognized instructor for D-Bat, Schuler moved back to Evansville, Indiana, and took over what was formally known as The Ballpark Academy, where he is now the owner of the Home Run Hitting Academy.<br />

Ryan has a dog named Jeter, named after his favorite player of all time, Derek Jeter. His ambition for coaching stems from watching his three older brothers play and also watching his father coach all four of his son's teams.<br />

With his brothers, Tim, Casey, and Chip, Ryan was raised in Osgood, Indiana, by their parents, Bill and Terri Schuler who still reside in Osgood.
