Oakland City University Men's Soccer traveled to Campbellsville University Wednesday night to face the Tigers. Your Mighty Oaks went 110 minutes with the 4th ranked opposition.
Campbellsville started the night off with a goal in the 16th minute of play. A defensive error led to the Mighty Oaks equalizer. Freshman,
Luke Simpson capitalized off a bad touch in the 83rd minute by the CU defender which led to a break away. Simpson was 1 on 1 with the goalkeeper and dribbled passed him for a quick tap in to tie the game up.
After the end of regulation, the teams battled for two overtime periods but neither could break the draw.
