Oakland City, IN - The Lady Oaks had their third home game of the season on Monday, crushing the Red Lions of Lincoln Christian 20-1, bringing their record to 3-2 on the year. The Oaks lead all through the game, and had no problem finding the back of the net. The scoring opened up in the second minute of the game when the Red Lions had a hand ball in the box resulting in a penalty kick goal for Freshman

Kelsey Barrett (1). The first half score was a whopping 10-0 for OCU.
Opening the second half scoring was
Madison Nicolas, assisted by Melgar. Goals in the second half were scored by, Nicolas (4), Doherty (2), Poneskis, in her first game as a Mighty Oak, (3), and Hospelhorn (1). The Mighty Oaks outshot the Red Lions 49-3.
The Mighty Oaks Women's Soccer team looks to continue their momentum into Thursday evening where they square off against the Moutaineers of Berea College at South Spencer High School beginning at 7:00 PM.
