OCU Falls in Game Two Of Dunn Hospitality Classic

Oakland City, IN- In the second game of the Dunn Hospitality Classic hosted by Oakland City, the Mighty Oaks fell to the University of Saint Francis 75-61. A hot outing by USF Dan McKeenman with 35 points led the way for the Cougars.

Leading the way for the Mighty Oaks was Allen Sims with 15 points on an efficient 7-12 shooting. Abdul Wurie followed with his 14 points on 5-7 from the field, Drake Moore added 13 counters on 5-13 from the floor. Sims, Drake Moore, and Jake Cochran lead the way for the Oaks on the board all with 5 rebounds on the evening. Abdul Wurie lead the way with 1 block and 3 steals, both a team high for the Oaks.

The Cougars were led by McKeenman with 35 points on 14-26 and 5-14 from three points land. He was followed by Zane Burke with 13 counters on 6-15 from the floor. Brayton Bailey also added 12 points and dished out a team high 4 assists. Evan Lowden led the Cougars with 13 rebounds while racking up 10 counters. 

The Mighty Oaks shot 25-53 (47%) from the field and 1-5 (20%) from three point land. The Oaks were 10-22 (45%) from the charity strike. The Cougars shot 28-61 (46%) from the field and 6-22 (27%) from three point land. The Cougars shot 13-21 (62%) from the line. 

Next up for the Mighty Oaks is Lawrence Tech on December 29th at home in the Johnson Center.
