OCU Softball Hosts Recruit Camp

Oakland City, IN- On Saturday, January 14th, the Oakland City University Softball team hosted a recruit camp for girls ages 12 through 18 years old. The camp took place in the Tichenor Athletic Center and had around 35 girls attend. The camp included pitching, hitting, infield, and outfield work as well as a question and answer session lead by Head Coach Patti Buchta. There were many local high school players in attendance at the camp. Coach Buchta said that the event was a fantastic event and she was excited with the turn out.
