Oakland City, IN - The Oakland City University cheer team, under the direction of Ashley Engler, will be holding tryouts for the 2023-24 season. A practice will be held on Monday, April 17, at 4:30 pm, while the tryout will take place on Saturday, April 22, at 1:00 pm. Both will be held in the Johnson Center.
Additionally, the OCU Cheer team will be having a Pork Chop Dinner on Saturday, April 29
, starting at 11:00 am. Included in the dinner will be a pork chop, baked potato, baked beans & dessert. Dinners are $10.00 and will be carry out only inside the main entrance of the Johnson Center. Tickets are currently being sold.
