Mikel Breeden joined the staff of the Oakland City Athletic Department as Men's Golf Coach for the 2011-12 season, adding to his responsibilities as Assistant Men's Basketball Coach and Athletic Promotions Director, positions he has held since 2009.

"Coaching at the collegiate level has been a goal of mine," states Breeden, "My goal is to bring in talented players who want to work hard and who have the desire to get better every day."

Under his direction, OCU sent an individual to the 2011 NCCAA Championship Tournament, then qualified as a team in 2016 and 2017, their third and fourth ever team qualifications in school history.

A 2009 graduate of Oakland City University with a degree in Physical Education and Health, Breeden was a member of the Might Oaks golf team from 2004-2009.

Breeden resides in Oakland City, Indiana.
