Lady Oaks Volleyball Takes Tough Loss at Maryville University

Oakland City's Lady Oak Volleyball Team dropped a tough five game set to Maryville University last night in St. Louis, Missouri.

The Lady Oaks took the first set by a 25-16 margin, but lost the second set 25-23. 

The Oaks righted themselves in the third set, winning 25-21, but the determined Saints came back to win the final two sets 25-18 and 15-9, respectively.

The loss dropped the OCU Women to 12-9 on the 2017 season, while the victory upped the Maryville University record to 2-19.

The Lady Oaks will travel to Louisville, Kentucky, on Saturday to take on Spalding University.
