Oakland City, IN- On Wednesday afternoon, the Mighty Oaks traveled to Montgomery, West Virginia for a River States Conference Match-up against the WVU Tech Bears. The Mighty Oaks improved their Conference Record to 4-0 and in sole possession of first place with a 5-0 victory.
Goals were scored by
Macey Woolcock, who scored two goals today collecting her 8th and 9th goals of the year. Also scoring was
Alejandra Ortiz (1),
Camilla Bedin (4), and
Jana Mueller (6). The Mighty Oaks went up 2-0 at halftime before collecting their final three goals in the 2nd half.
The Mighty Oaks return to the pitch Thursday, October 17th against Brescia University at Goebel Sports Complex in Evansville at 7:30 pm.
