Melgar wins RSC POW again!

MIDDLETOWN, Ohio -- Oakland City (Ind.) University freshman Claudia Melgar had a hat trick to get River States Conference Women's Soccer Offensive Player of the Week for Oct. 11-17.

The midfielder from Mexico City, Mexico, racked up three goals in the only game of the week for the Mighty Oaks, a 4-0 win over Midway (Ky.). Melgar also had an assist on the other goal for a total of seven points on the day. She registered 11 shots with eight on goal. 

The now 2 time Conference Player of the Week has racked up 11 goals and 5 assists in 13 games.
