Four women competed this past weekend in the Louisville Classic at Tom Sawyer Park. They all capitalized on their recent 5k marks by running season bests.
The group was led by Freshman
Berlyn Ingle (26:10), placing 182nd in the competitive field of 205.
"The women ran very smart races this past weekend. They are on track to keep running faster week after week. They have not been given the best race conditions with the heat and have still handled it very well. I'm looking forward to the rest of their season," mentioned Coach Guillozet.
The women will return to action at the Angel Mounds Invitational hosted by the University of Southern Indiana on October 18th.
