Box Score 2 Oakland City, IN- The 2024 campaign of new Head Coach
Jamie Bladen and the OCU Women's soccer team has claimed their first Regular Season Conference Title with their victory of the IU-East Redwolves on Thursday. They completed the undefeated season with a win over Rio Grande on Saturday.
OCU Women's Soccer will now host the remainder of the River States Conference Tournament with the site to still be determined. They will face the winner of West Virginia Tech and Shawnee State whom they beat 5-0 and 1-0 respectively.
Leading the Mighty Oaks this season was
Macey Woolcock with 11 goals and five assists and 27 points on the year. Following her was freshman
Jana Mueller with eight goals and six assists with 22 points. Leading the back line for the Mighty Oaks was Yazia Ramos in goal, she had 49 saves and only allowed 15 goals in 15 games with a save percentage of .766.
The Mighty Oaks will learn their opponent on Wednesday, November 6th and will play the Conference Semifinal on Saturday, Novemeber 9th. Be on the lookout for the updated schedule as it unfolds!
