"This will be the tenth annual Show and we are looking forward to hosting this prestigious event once again in Kingsport. It truly is the best Holiday Basketball event in NAIA." – Coach
Ken French.
Oakland City's first conference test comes Nov. 7 on the road against the newest RSC member, IU Columbus. Six days later on Dec. 13, the Oaks will take on Abraham Baldwin College in the College of Coastal Georgia Classic. They will face Brewton Parker on day two of the event Dec. 14.
Upon returning to Oakland City, the Oaks will host their Champions of Character Classic for the local elementary schools versus Kuyper College on Dec. 19.
OCU will resume non-conference play Dec. 29 and 30 as they host the Dunn Hospitality Group Classic versus the Concordia University Ann Arbor and Cumberland University of Tennessee.
After the DHG Classic the rest of the schedule will be River States Conference opponents.
"We put together a challenging non-conference schedule that will help us later in the season," French stated. "We have a new group this year that we are excited about and look forward to growing together during the season. We will be tested by not only our opponents, but by the travel and amount of early road games."
