Pierce Lashley was named NAIA Champion of Character for the men's cross country team. This is a great honor that exemplifies the types of people and athletes that represent their institutions the best.
"This was a great way to wrap up the season. You can really tell that all the hard work these athletes have been putting in the last few months has paid off. Seeing a lot of these massive personal bests is enough proof that if they stick to it, there will be even more success. Lashley and Marshall went out and proved just that. I'm excited for this group to capitalize on this meet next year, especially with the new recruiting class coming in," mentioned Coach Guillozet.
This concludes the 2023 Oakland City Cross Country season.
