Oakland City, IN - The Oakland City University cross country teams, headed by Coach
Blake Guillozet released their 2025 Fall schedule.
The Mighty Oaks will open their campaign at the Stegemoller Twilight hosted by the University of Southern Indiana on August 29th. They will travel to Versailles, KY on September 19th for the Midway University XC Invite. On October 4th, they will head to Louisville, KY for the Live in Lou Classic. Their last meet before the conference championships will be the NAIA Great Lakes Challenge on October 25th, hosted by Aquinas College. The River States Conference meet will be hosted by the University of Rio Grande on November 8th. The men and women seek to qualify for the NCCAA National meet in Joplin, MO, hosted by Ozark Christian College.
The men come off a strong 2024 season with their qualification to NCCAA nationals and finishing 8th/10 at the River States Conference meet. The women have added two strong additions in
Melissa de Jong (who also plays tennis under Coach Colin Dixon) and
Heidi Breidenbaugh, who also seek to join the men at the NCCAA national meet.
