As a high school basketball standout from Terre Haute, Indiana, Clint made his way to Oakland City University via transfer from the University of South Dakota in 2000.

As a player, Weddle was a three-year team captain at OCU. At his induction, he stands sixth all-time on the Mighty Oaks' leading scorer list with 1,648 points tallied during his career. He holds the career record for 3-point field goals made (331), while connecting on 41% of his three-point field goal attempts during his playing career.

In his coaching debut, Weddle coached the Oakland City University women’s basketball team. The Lady Oaks capped their 2004-05 season with a third-place finish in the National Christian College Athletic Association Championship.

Following his time on the sidelines for the Oaks, he went on to coach at the University of Indianapolis and Indiana State University.

Weddle is the proud husband of Trudy Weddle, and currently serves as the Vice-Chancellor of Enrollment Services at Ivy-Tech Bloomington. He also works as the Director of Corporate and Foundation Giving for the Indiana State University Division of Advancement, where he focuses on developing and expanding corporate partnerships and support from foundations to provide funding for strategic university initiatives.
